8 people from Christ Church will be going to St Edmund's Church in Dartford at 6pm on 4th July, for a service of Confirmation.  For each of them this is a very significant step on their Christian journey - they would love to see you there to support them.     

New Bishop!

Did you know that a new Bishop of Rochester has been appointed?  His name is James Langstaff and he is currently Bishop of Lynn in the Diocese of Norwich.  You can find out more about him on the Diocese's website:  

Bishop James will be joining the Diocese later this year.

Table Top Sale

Time for a clear-out? Bring all your unwanted items to a Table Top Sale in Christ Church Hall and grounds on 24th July. £10 per table - personal sales only, no trade. Sellers from 8am, buyers from 10am.  Tables must be booked in advance from Teresa 01474 326155.

Mothers' Union

Christ Church has a lively Mothers' Union group with a varied programme of activities...  coming up soon is a Summer Social on 7th July at 8pm at 68 Pine Avenue  ...  new members are always welcome - contact us if you would like to know more.

Come and pray!

The Warrior Chapel (to the right of the choir stalls) has been transformed into a space for prayer and contemplation. Use it before or after services, or any other time that you are in the church.

Church Family Barbecue

8th August at 12 noon - come and join us for a community Barbecue with toys and games for all the family. There will be a small nominal charge to cover the cost of sausages and buns!  Let us know if you are planning to be there, so that we get enough food...  call 01474 352643.

New look 2nd Sundays!

From January, the 10am morning service on the 2nd Sunday of each month will be a 'new look' all-age service of Holy Communion. Each month the service will reflect a particular theme and the words and music will be chosen to provide something for all, from the oldest to the youngest.  We are always delighted to welcome our uniformed organisations, who join us for these services.
