Brownies and Guides

Girlguiding is well represented at Christ Church with three active units. The 3^rd Milton (St Faiths) Brownies meet in Christ Church hall on Monday evenings from 5.30 until 7.00 p.m..The 11^th Milton ( Christ Church ) Brownies meet in Christ Church hall on Thursday evenings from 5.30 until 7.00 p.m.. The 3^rd Milton (St Faiths) Guides meet at the Waterhole on Windmill Hill on Wednesday evenings from 6.00 until 8.00 p.m..

All units have a varied programme including outdoor activities, craft, badges and many other opportunities for fun with a purpose. The units have taken part in circus and drama workshops, entertained residents in local care homes, been ten pin bowling, followed the Gravesend history trail, and taken part in sleepovers and camps and holidays.

Girlguiding encourages contribution to society which we do at Christ Church by supporting the bazaar and summer fete, the Christingle and Lent appeal.

The Brownie programme is intended for girls from seven to about ten and the Guide programme for the ten plus age group. As the units are all so popular it is advisable to put your daughter’s name on the waiting list well before she approaches the relevant age. Please contact us for details.
