Easter Cross Project
On Good Friday all the children in church for their service helped to make a large collage picture of a dark sky and green grass.
Then they made a cross by tearing sad stories from newspapers and sticking them on.
On Easter Sunday, God's Gang transformed the sad cross into a happy cross of tissue paper flowers remembering how that was just what Jesus did by dying on the cross and rising again. He showed us how through love, we can put right all the badness in the world.
