SUNDAY EVENING SERVICES AT CHRIST CHURCH
Evening Service on the 2nd Sunday of each month is usually a service of Choral Evensong. (4pm between Remembrance Sunday and Mothering Sunday, 6.30pm otherwise) In addition, we occasionally hold other services on Sunday evenings, and sometimes we share services with our brothers and sisters in neighbouring churches – to check times and details take a look at the weekly notice sheet, the magazine or this website.
There is no Choral Evensong service during August.
Evening services during Summer/ Autumn 2011 4th September 6.30 pm at St Aidan's Church, St Aidans Way - an Ecumenical service to celebrate St Aidan's Day 11th September 6.30 pm at Christ Church - Choral Evensong 9th October 6.30 pm at Christ Church - Choral Evensong for Harvest 6th November 6.30 pm at Christ Church - Choral Evensong 13th November 4.00 pm at Christ Church - Service for the Bereaved 27th November 4.00 pm at St Mary's RC Church in Rochester Road - an Ecumenical service to celebrate Advent 4th December 4.00 pm at Christ Church - Christingle Service 11th December 4.00 pm at Christ Church - EllenorLions Hospices Lights of Love Service at Christ Church (the lighting of the external Christmas Tree) 18th December 6.30 pm at Christ Church - Service of Lessons and Carols followed by mulled wine and mince pies
