Over 80's visit to Notcutts (2007)Christmas Over-80s visit to Notcutts Garden CentreOn Monday 26th November we took a party of our over-80s to Notcutts Garden Centre, Maidstone. This has become a favourite outing at this time of year because it allows a wide range of Christmas shopping, topped off with a well-earned cup of tea and a mince pie. It also allows the more festive amongst our party to see just how many model reindeer, Father Christmases and snowmen they can get singing “Jingle Bells” at the same time! This outing has nicely rounded off our over-80s programme which included a garden visit in spring and a summer tea-party. Thanks are due to the volunteer car drivers who make these outings possible.
